Arbutus unedo is an evergreen shrub or small tree in the family Ericacea, native to the Mediterranean regions and western Europe. The tree is well known for its fruits, which bear some resemblance to the strawberry—hence the common name "strawberry tree". However, it is not closely related to true strawberries of the genus Fragaria. 

As it’s name indicates it really tastes like strawberry with a bit of a pineapple twist? Very interesting fruit and this specific variety seems to either be young fruit or just have no seeds!
