A beautiful variety of hibiscus (Hibiscus Sabdariffa) commonly used in the islands to make, jams, jellies, adding in cuisine as a souring agent, traditionally used make a punch for the holidays, in a tea for sore throat & to prevent flus & colds.
The flavour is lemony and tart, the mouth feel is very much like a crunchy radicchio and can be enjoyed raw in salads & as you would use any edible flowers.
