White sapote (Casimiroa edulis) is a green skinned fruit with a smooth with flesh that is surprisingly in the same family as oranges yet has no similar flavours. The pulp is sweet and has a flavor profile that often includes hints of peach, pear, lemon, banana, and caramel. A very rare find. Only in season for a few weeks per year!
