The flavour of Yellow Pitaya / Dragonfruit is very sweet with light notes of tropical kiwi and candy citrus flavour. Highly prized and recognized to be the best Dragonfruit variety by all Pitahaya farmers for having the highest brix (sugar) content.
Compared to other varieties of dragon fruit, such as the red and white dragon fruits, these are much sweeter and quite literally taste like honey.
