Yangmei or Bayberry! This is a rather rare find with some amazing flavour.
Some describe the flavor of the berry as falling somewhere between a strawberry, a cranberry, a cherry and a pomegranate, with the texture of an orange! Bayberries are sweet and tart, with juicy pulp between blood orange and mulberry. The juice can stain hands and lips.
